Toy Story Inspired Wedding Board:

when i pictured this wedding i saw a backyard wedding, so i went with it. i think i pictured it because buzz and woody even though started out enemies, they became the best of friends and best of friends do everything they can for each other. i really tried to incorporate that feeling into the wedding because that’s what i feel backyard weddings are all about, family and friends. 

other ideas not on the board:

if you don’t want Mr. & Mrs. potato head on your cake how about Buzz & Jessie or Woody & Bo Peep.

have little kid touches though out the room.

maybe have a photo booth, like an old school one. 

Tangled inspired sweet sixteen board i created:

just like most of you i am obsessed with Tangled. i love sweet sixteens because i love getting dressed up, and all girly. i thought that since Rapunzel and Eugene (flynn) were outside for most of the movie i thought it would be a good idea for the party of have an outdoor-esq feel to it. that’s why i stuck to flowers, lanterns, and the colors pink and purple. i also threw in some fairy lights just for fun :)

serve hazelnut soup (be careful of food allergies)

however the birthday girl decides to wear her hair, put flowers in it

A Nightmare Before Christmas inspired 21st birthday board:

i love 21st birthday parties cause they are so much more low key than sweet sixteens, all you need is a house, boos, friends and music… i am absolutely in love with the wall decals! they make you feel like you are in the movie!… kind of just let your dark side out with this party ;)

other ideas not on the board:

either have the party near Halloween or Christmas, if your birthday’s around that time .

look up drink recipes or create some & name them after the characters.

Tangled inspired wedding board i created:

i just watched this movie for the first time last night! and i am definatly buying it for myself so i can watch it over and over again. now i dont know if you want to do this, but in some cases people write a wish on the lantern before they light it and let it go. i thought it would be a little cute to have the center peice be a star because rapunzel’s “mother” told her the lanterns were stars. also i thought the cake could have a gold flowers on it.

1st dance as husband and wife should be to “I See The Light”

if the bride wants to wear a crown, go for it!

Minnie and Mickey inspired wedding board i created:

for this wedding board you basically have free rein. you can use any colors you want, all you have to do is just add touches of mouse ears. definatly be creative with this one.

have a touch of mouse ears on your bouquet, like rhinestones

Alice in Wonderland inspired Sweet Sixteen board:

i think an alice in wonderland themed sweet sixteen is great because you can take it to the classic alice in wonderland or tim burton’s version, or you could combine the two. the invitations should be on playing cards, the decor should be whimsical but mad at the same time…if that makes any sense at all. if this was my sweet sixteen i definatly would be wearing the big hat, just so people know im the birthday girl.

have non-alcoholic drinks inspired by alice in wonderland

the tim burton’s alice soundtrack, songs sound randomly pop up from it.

Hercules inspired wedding board i created:

with this theme i was really inspired by the ruins of ancient greece and mount olympus. every girl wants to feel like a princess on her special day, in this case she’ll feel like a godess. now i have a picture of the bridemaids in pale blue, but if you can get pink like Megera, than thats perfect! i think the brides bouqet should match her bridemaids dresses and vise versa. the tables can be named after grecian dieties ex- athena, aphrodite…

you could name the tables after places in ancient greece ex- sparta, athens

you can also serve greek food if you’d like ex- gyro
